Walks and trails in and around the area
There are lots of wonderful walks in and around the meadows.
Using the meadows as a base you can walk for miles in the hills around. There are a documented series of walks that will have you in the heart of the countryside and exploring the ‘Secret Hills of South Shropshire’ within 10 minutes.

Also you can walk with the Shamblers. They are an informal walking group which meets on Fridays. The walks suit most abilities and are about 3 to 5 miles long from around 10.30am to lunchtime.
The Shamblers are a loosely formed group of people who enjoy walking for pleasure. There are no rules and regulations nor are there any fees, insurances or liabilities. People walk at their own risk. Everybody is welcome as a regular or one off. To join the e-mailing list contact John Buckingham on buckingham.john@googlemail.com or the reception at the Discovery Centre who usually have details on the walks by Thursday.
